Overview:

The Business Solutions and Data Analytics Lead provides senior specialist leadership and advice in relation to business solutions, data analytics and information systems that support Public Health planning, surveillance and response activities.

Working under broad direction, the role is responsible for leading and coordinating complex data and system improvement activities, providing expert advice on data quality and system design, and guiding the delivery of system enhancements through the software development life cycle (SDLC).

The role contributes to the effective operation, integrity and continuous improvement of Public Health information systems and analytics capability, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose, compliant with governance requirements, and aligned with Branch priorities.

The role operates with a high degree of autonomy within clearly defined policy, legislative and governance frameworks, referring significant or sensitive matters to the Manager as required.
