Overview

SA Health's Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) is seeking an experienced registered nurse to step into a part-time Associate Nurse Unit Manager role within the Dialysis and Chemotherapy service at Ceduna Multi-Purpose Service, on a contract through to 28 March 2027.

What You'll Be Leading

Operating at the ANUM level, you will share responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the Dialysis and Chemotherapy unit alongside fellow ANUMs and the Nurse Unit Manager. Your scope includes:

• Promoting continuity and consistency of patient care across the unit, coordinating with the broader nursing team to maintain safe, evidence-based practice
• Supporting the NUM in implementing practice changes and embedding quality improvement across the service
• Assisting with ward management functions including rostering, staffing, leave management, work allocation, and recruitment processes
• Contributing to financial and supplies planning and monitoring to keep the unit running efficiently
• Guiding and developing less experienced staff, accepting accountability for both your own practice and the activities you delegate

What You'll Bring

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, with demonstrated experience in dialysis and/or chemotherapy nursing
• A practice profile that reflects development from competent to proficient - consolidated through experience, further study, or both
• Proven ability to lead a small team, support performance management processes, and contribute to unit-level decision-making
• Commitment to delivering culturally safe, person-centred care across diverse patient populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities central to the EFNLHN region
• Strong communication and organisational skills suited to a rural multi-purpose service environment
