Are you a dedicated nurse with a passion for leadership? The Port Pirie Regional Health Service is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our Chemotherapy team. In this permanent, part-time role, you'll help guide our dynamic nursing team, promote excellence in patient care, and support change initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Your Role:

As the ANUM, you'll be a key leader, collaborating with the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager to oversee nursing practice and provide high-quality, person-centred care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and mentoring staff, promoting professional development.
  • Contributing to service management tasks such as rostering, staffing, and performance management.
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives to ensure the safety and satisfaction of patients.
  • Coordinating education and clinical teaching for students and new staff.
  • Participating in clinical research and auditing to drive evidence-based practice.


What You Bring:

  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with a current practising certificate.
  • At least 3 years of post-registration experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in staff supervision and development.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to drive change and innovation in a healthcare environment.
