Join our Respiratory Sleep Medicine & Ventilation Team

Supervise day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Outpatient clinics within Flinders Medical Centre and Noarlunga GP Plus, ensuring consistent patient visits, RoPP Billing and Referral Management standards are consistently met.

About the role: 

Reporting to the Head of Respiratory Sleep Medicine & Ventilation Services, this role is responsible for overseeing Respiratory Clinic operations and RoPP billing.

Duties for the role will include:

  • Ensure that service provision and the activities of the Division / Unit / Ward / Service are person and family centred and professionally and effectively conducted by contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers.
  • Ensure the effective management of human, financial and physical assets through appropriate planning and allocation of resources to achieve agreed Division / Unit / Ward / Service and strategic plans.
  • Manage and report on KPI's as required.
  • Manage and oversee ASO2 staff
  • Undertake change management processes and consultation to implement changes to administration and billing services.
  • Lead any recommendations to improve Respiratory Clinic services and billing practices 
  • Monitor reporting requirements via EMR Sunrise and SystemView to ensure required measures are obtained

About you:

  • Proven experience in providing a confidential administrative management service
  • Proven extensive experience in computing skills in particular with computing software packages: Microsoft Suite, EPAS, Health Track, Sentry Suite, BasWare and Oracle.
  • Experience establishing, maintaining and improving office administrative systems and processes, including financial and record keeping systems.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to make higher level decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work without supervision with a high level of initiative and drive to achieve outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team leader and ability to manage staff
