About the Role:

Join the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network as a Project Officer and play a key role in delivering complex projects and initiatives that strengthen medical services across the region. Working independently, you’ll use your knowledge, experience and project skills to help shape, implement and sustain services that support the LHN’s strategic priorities and make a meaningful difference to healthcare outcomes.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Criteria 

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proven project management, planning and organisational skills, ideally within a clinical setting.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills, including preparing reports, analysing data and improving services.
  • Ability to build respectful, collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, government and community partners.

Desired Criteria 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, business, health or community services.
  • Experience working in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical services priorities, relevant legislation and government funding mechanisms.
