Overview:

  • The Senior Operations Digital Solutions Manager, CIS is accountable for directing, leading and managing the complex environment in the strategic planning, delivery, operation and evaluation of critical programs, projects and services that ensure the effective end-to-end operational management and support of SA Health Clinical information Systems (CIS).

  • The role leads, directs and guides high performing teams in the delivery of critical and complex CIS related programs that ensure the effective management and delivery of day to day operations and the delivery of reliable, stable and upgraded systems to end users.

  • Utilises unique knowledge to formulate strategies, frameworks, policies and practices that ensure high quality and effective application support services are available to SA Health customers, including for systems such as Sunrise EMR and PAS, Statewide Referral Management System (SRMS), Cloud Health Information Broker (CHIB) and Digital system testing.

  • The role oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of complex processes and systems that ensure the consistent, accurate and timely management of incidents, problems and requests, the management and resolution of product defects and the delivery of system reporting obligations.

  • Utilises specialised knowledge and expertise to manage CIS operations, including complex and unique interdependencies of clinical information systems and impacts on critical business functions that have significant technical and strategic outcomes.

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment).

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
