WHAT ARE WE OFFERING? 

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people by developing and delivering engaging leisure and lifestyle programs that promote wellbeing, independence, and quality of life. As the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator, you will coordinate a range of social, recreational, and therapeutic activities tailored to residents' individual needs, interests, and abilities.

Working closely with residents, families, staff, volunteers, and the multidisciplinary team, you will help create a supportive and vibrant aged care environment where residents feel connected, valued, and empowered to live life to the fullest.

You will……

  • Coordinate and deliver a diverse range of leisure, lifestyle, recreational, and therapeutic activities that enhance residents' quality of life.

  • Support residents to participate in meaningful activities that promote independence, choice, social connection, and emotional wellbeing.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individual and group programs that cater to varying cognitive, physical, cultural, and social needs.

  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, volunteers, community groups, and staff to create a vibrant and engaging aged care environment.

  • Monitor resident participation and feedback to continuously improve programs and ensure activities remain relevant, enjoyable, and person-centred.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?

  • You will be required to have completed AQF Certificate III in sterilising technology
