WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

• A reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality laundry, cleaning and support services.
• Someone with a strong commitment to hygiene, infection prevention, safety and quality standards.
• A team player with effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare environment.
• A flexible and organised person who can adapt to changing priorities and contribute to the smooth operation of our new Laundry, Stores and Staff Accommodation facility.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

• Perform essential laundry and support service duties, including linen processing, distribution, stock handling and maintaining service areas.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to infection prevention, control and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and well-functioning environment that supports patients, staff and visitors.
• Contribute to a positive team culture through ongoing training, continuous improvement and participation in a rotating 7 day roster

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS? 

Working in this environment, it is important to us that we only employ people with the upmost integrity and commitment to serving the South Australian community and its visitors to the highest possible standards.  To ensure that we meet that commitment there are a few checks that you will be required to undertake.  These are detailed on the Role Description, but are likely to include the following:
