About the Role

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be an integral member of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, providing exceptional patient-centred care while contributing to positive health outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering health promotion, education and support to patients, families and carers,
  • Providing clinical leadership and coordination of patient care on a shift-by-shift basis,
  • Supporting and mentoring less experienced Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and students,
  • Contributing to safe and effective strategies for managing challenging behaviours,
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of cardiac care,

About You

You will bring:

  • Experience caring for patients in an acute cardiology setting,
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills,
  • The ability to think creatively, adapt to change and embrace innovation,
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands,
  • A commitment to teamwork and delivering exceptional patient outcomes
