- Ongoing | Part-Time – 0.65 FTE, with potential for up to Full-Time.
- AHP1 | $73,710 - $89,981 p.a. (pro rata)
- AHP2 | $94,997 - $110,052 p.a. (pro rata)

Please note that this position is multi-classified as either an AHP1 or AHP2. Classification will be determined by the successful applicant's qualifications, experience and demonstrated level of professional competency.
About The Role
Join Country Health Connect as a Rural Generalist Physiotherapist and build a rewarding career delivering physiotherapy services to communities across the Tatiara region.
This newly created ongoing position offers 0.65 FTE with flexibility for the right candidate and potential to increase to full-time as the role develops. Your primary location can be negotiated between Bordertown or Keith.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide client-centred physiotherapy assessment, intervention and rehabilitation across a range of rural health settings. You will be supported through clinical supervision, professional networks and development opportunities while contributing to high-quality, accessible healthcare for regional communities.
About You
To succeed in the Rural Generalist Physiotherapist role, you will:
- Hold a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and meet all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrate the ability to assess client needs and plan, implement and evaluate appropriate evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
- Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate professionally with clients, families, carers, health professionals and community service providers.
- Demonstrate sound organisational skills, professional judgement and the ability to manage and prioritise a varied clinical workload.
- At AHP1 level, develop your clinical skills with direct supervision and support from experienced Physiotherapists, with supervision reducing as your experience and capability develop.
- At AHP2 level, apply greater clinical experience and professional judgement, working with increased autonomy and managing increasingly complex clinical practice.
- Work as part of a well-supported service, with access to Allied Health Assistant and administrative support to assist with effective service delivery.

As part of the Physiotherapy service, you will work collaboratively with other health professionals, service providers and community partners to deliver integrated, client-centred care. Services may include inpatient, outpatient, outreach and community-based physiotherapy, with opportunities to work across different clinical areas depending on service needs and your level of experience.
You will be supported by experienced Physiotherapists and connected to professional and multidisciplinary networks across the Limestone Coast and regional South Australia, providing opportunities to continue developing your rural generalist skills and professional practice.

Conditions of Employment
- A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
- A satisfactory Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.
- A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
- A current driver's licence is essential, along with a willingness to drive on country roads and travel as required.
- Flexibility and some out-of-hours work may be required.
- Immunisation Risk for this position is – Category A.
- The successful applicant will be required to comply with the LCLHN credentialling requirements for Allied Health and Scientific Health Professionals.
- SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
