Build your physiotherapy career in the Limestone Coast as a Rural Generalist Physiotherapist, based in Millicent.
This ongoing position offers full-time employment, with part-time hours negotiable for the right candidate, providing flexibility alongside the security of a permanent role.
Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide client-centred physiotherapy assessment, intervention and rehabilitation across a range of clinical and community settings. About You
To succeed in the Rural Generalist Physiotherapist role, you will:
- Hold a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and meet all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrate the ability to assess client needs and plan, implement and evaluate appropriate evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
- Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate professionally with clients, families, carers, health professionals and community service providers.
- Demonstrate sound organisational skills, professional judgement and the ability to manage and prioritise a varied clinical workload.
- At AHP1 level, develop your clinical skills with direct supervision and support from experienced Physiotherapists, with supervision reducing as your experience and capability develop.
- At AHP2 level, apply greater clinical experience and professional judgement, working with increased autonomy and managing increasingly complex clinical practice.
- Work as part of a well-supported service, with access to Allied Health Assistant and administrative support to assist with effective service delivery.

Conditions of Employment
- A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
- A satisfactory Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.
- A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
- A current driver's licence is essential, along with a willingness to drive on country roads and travel as required.
- Flexibility and some out-of-hours work may be required.
- Immunisation Risk for this position is – Category A.
- The successful applicant will be required to comply with the LCLHN credentialling requirements for Allied Health and Scientific Health Professionals.
- SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
The screening, driver's licence, travel and credentialling requirements are specified in the Physiotherapist PDs.
