About the role

Join SA Pathology and play an important role in supporting research that improves healthcare outcomes across South Australia. Working closely with the Director, Research and Innovation, you will coordinate research governance, grants, projects and policy activities that enable high-quality research across the organisation. Through your analytical skills, initiative and attention to detail, you will help drive strategic research initiatives and support a culture of research excellence.

Working with researchers, Local Health Network Research Offices, Universities, Medical Research Institutes and other stakeholders, you will facilitate the progression of research activities from application through to completion. This includes supporting grant administration, research approvals, committee processes, and requests for testing services, data and biospecimen access, while maintaining accurate research records and contributing to effective systems and processes that strengthen SA Pathology's research environment.

About You

You’ll bring strong coordination skills, sound research governance knowledge and a proactive approach to supporting high-quality outcomes. You will have:

  • Strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Experience managing complex administration, information and data
  • Sound research governance and compliance knowledge in Australia
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and information systems
