About the role

Are you ready to lead outcomes across the multidisciplinary teams within our Gender Service and transform lives? This role could be for you!

The Program Coordinator of Gender Services works collaboratively with a broad multidisciplinary team, community agencies, and various other services to facilitate an effective, supportive, and patient-focused service. The role establishes clear transition pathways from child/adolescent to adult services and engages with community-based gender support services.

Coordinating and managing the Gender Service, you will also coordinate and lead training, education, and program evaluation activities while ensuring the implementation of policies and best-practice initiatives!

Key duties of the role

  • Provide service leadership, management and oversight of a group of designated multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide management oversight to lead and improve Gender Diversity Services processes and practices in accordance with emerging service needs and care evaluation results.
  • Lead and improve local processes and interventions in child and adolescent gender diversity health.
  • Coordinate services for expert assessment and advice to achieve integrated child and adolescent health care.
  • Ensure staff are skilled and able to provide quality gender diversity services.
