Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) - Gastroenterology Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fellow

• The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woodville SA 5011 - Gastroenterology & Hepatology
• MDP2 - $99,707 to $158,523 p.a. (pro rata) + super + salary packaging
• Temporary - Part Time, 7.6 hours per week (12-month contract)

Term of the Contract: 3 years (in line with clause 55 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement). At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to assist find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3-year contract, if necessary.

About the Role

Join TQEH's Gastroenterology and Hepatology team as an Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fellow, combining specialist clinical care with IBD clinical trials and research. You'll support inpatient and outpatient services, contribute to endoscopy and help develop junior medical staff.

• Deliver high-quality gastroenterology and IBD clinical care
• Coordinate inpatient consultation and specialist outpatient care
• Contribute to gastrointestinal endoscopy within your experience
• Support IBD clinical trials and departmental research
• Supervise and teach resident medical officers and students

About You

You’ll bring sound clinical judgement, strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to specialist gastroenterology care, education and research.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold an MBBS or equivalent degree eligible for AHPRA registration
• Demonstrate clinical skills suited to gastroenterology duties
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and colleagues
• Bring experience supervising and supporting medical staff
• Work confidently across multidisciplinary hospital services
