About the role

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll play a valued role in delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care while making a meaningful difference to the lives of the people we support. You’ll bring your nursing knowledge, clinical skills and genuine commitment to quality care to every interaction, working confidently within your scope of practice and taking accountability for your own standards of care. As you grow from a developing practitioner towards a proficient level of practice, you’ll be supported to build your capability through experience, professional development and a strong culture of learning.

You’ll be an important and collaborative member of the broader health care team, building positive and productive relationships with colleagues, clients and external service providers. You’ll have the opportunity to support and guide Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing/Midwifery and students, sharing your knowledge and helping others develop their skills and confidence. Working collaboratively with government and non-government organisations, you’ll help ensure the needs of our client group are understood and met. Above all, we’re looking for a Registered Nurse who brings warmth, professionalism and a team-focused approach to delivering care that truly makes a difference.

About You

We’re looking for a compassionate and capable Registered Nurse who brings strong clinical expertise, a collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, consumer and family-centred care.

  • Qualified and registered: Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible to hold a current practising certificate.
  • Skilled and experienced: Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice, with sound knowledge of the Registered Nurse role, professional standards, legislation, codes of ethics and competency requirements.
  • A strong communicator and team player: Excellent communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and build positive relationships.
  • Adaptable and quality-focused: Able to prioritise workload, respond creatively and flexibly to challenges, and contribute to quality improvement while keeping consumers, clients and families at the centre of care.
