About the Role

Join CALHN as a Dietitian (AHP2) and use your expertise to improve nutrition and patient care. You’ll assess, plan and deliver tailored nutrition support for inpatients while working closely with multidisciplinary teams in the area of critical care.

  • Assess nutritional needs and develop tailored care plans
  • Deliver nutrition counselling to patients and families
  • Provide expert dietetic advice to healthcare teams
  • Collaborate across allied health and community services
  • Support and supervise dietitians where required
  • Contribute across CALHN sites and seven-day services

About You

You are a collaborative and adaptable dietitian who brings sound clinical skills, a patient-focused approach and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a Nutrition and Dietetics degree eligible for DA membership
  • Demonstrate strong dietetic assessment and treatment skills
  • Bring clinical experience across a broad range of conditions
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
  • Manage a varied caseload and adapt to changing priorities
