Join our centralised HR Advice Team and play a key role in supporting managers and employees across Southern Adelaide Local Health Network. As an HR Advisor, you’ll provide practical, timely and trusted advice across a diverse range of people matters, including employee entitlements, industrial instruments, recruitment and HR policies.

This is a great opportunity to use your HR expertise, build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to improving HR processes and services across SALHN.

About the role: 

Reporting to the HR Team Leader, you will:

  • Provide timely, practical and accurate HR advice to managers and employees across SALHN.
  • Provide guidance across a broad range of HR matters, including policies, Awards and Enterprise Agreements, employee entitlements and recruitment.
  • Support key HR processes, including position reclassifications, HR correspondence, systems and operational workflows.
  • Build strong working relationships with Principal HR Advisors, Senior HR Business Partners and the broader HR Services team.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance processes, resources and the overall customer experience.

About you:

  • HR expertise: Bring experience providing practical HR advice and support within a complex organisation, with an understanding of contemporary HR practices.
  • Strong communicator: Build positive relationships and confidently provide clear, accurate advice to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Organised and adaptable: Manage competing priorities, sensitive information and deadlines while working collaboratively as part of a busy team.
  • Committed to quality: Demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical practice, diversity and inclusion, WHS, quality improvement and delivering a positive, customer-focused HR service.
