Take Your Exercise Physiology Skills Into the Community

Join the Better Care in the Community Team and use your exercise physiology expertise to help clients manage complex and chronic health conditions, achieve their goals and stay well in the community.

About the Role

As an AHP2 Exercise Physiologist, you will provide client-centred exercise physiology services tailored to individual needs and goals. You’ll work with a diverse client group, including people living with cardiac, metabolic/bariatric, respiratory and other chronic conditions.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll plan, deliver and evaluate therapeutic interventions that support improved health outcomes, hospital avoidance and early supported discharge.

This role offers the opportunity to work with reduced clinical direction, applying your clinical knowledge and growing your skills across a broad range of presentations. You may also contribute to the supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants and students.

You’ll work collaboratively with health professionals and service providers across different sectors to deliver integrated care that helps clients achieve their goals and remain connected to their community.

About You

You’ll bring recognised Exercise Physiology qualifications, eligibility for practising membership of the relevant professional association, sound clinical knowledge and a commitment to client-centred care.

If you’re looking for a role where you can use your clinical skills in a community-focused, multidisciplinary environment while supporting people to live healthier lives, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and bring your exercise physiology expertise to Better Care in the Community.
