About the Role

Lead Social Work services across CALHN and help shape high-quality, patient-centred care. As a recognised clinical expert, you’ll guide teams, influence strategy and build contemporary services that support best practice, workforce growth and better patient outcomes.

• Lead Social Work services across CALHN sites and teams
• Shape strategic plans, service models and workforce priorities
• Manage people, budgets, resources, safety and quality
• Guide complex clinical care with expert professional advice
• Build partnerships across clinical and executive teams
• Drive evidence-based practice, research and service improvement
• Develop staff through supervision, mentorship and education
• Champion consistent, safe and high-quality Social Work practice

About You

You are a collaborative Social Work leader who brings strong clinical expertise, strategic thinking and the ability to inspire high-performing teams across complex health services.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a Social Work degree eligible for full AASW membership
• Bring strong operational clinical Social Work and leadership experience
• Lead complex service planning, change and workforce priorities
• Build trusted relationships across multidisciplinary teams
• Drive evidence-based practice, quality and service improvement
