About the Role:

Join our team as a Services Assistant, providing essential catering, cleaning and housekeeping services that make a real difference to the health unit and its clients. This varied role offers the opportunity to prepare and deliver meals, maintain a welcoming environment and assist with laundry duties.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Criteria 

• Ability to work effectively in a team and relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
• Flexible approach to work, rostering and changing environments.
• Good communication, interpersonal, written and numeracy skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, infection control, cleaning and safe work practices.
• Limited experience in housekeeping, catering/cooking and laundry, with basic computer skills.

Desired Criteria 

• Year 11 completion and current First Aid certificate.
• Experience in housekeeping, catering/cooking and laundry, with basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated manual handling skills and knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity principles.
