Join Burra Hospital as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager where you'll contribute to high-quality patient care and supporting the nursing team in effective healthcare delivery.

About the Role

Support clinical leadership and the delivery of high-quality nursing care, contribute to team coordination, mentor staff, and support day-to-day service delivery and continuous improvement.  Key responsibilities:

• Promoting continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with our team
• Assisting in the implementation of practice changes under the guidance of our Nurse Unit Manager
• Providing leadership of nursing/midwives in the health service in support of the Nurse Unit Manager
• Undertaking management responsibilities such as performance management, recruitment, rostering, and financial planning.

What You'll Bring

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia, with a practising certificate
• Strong leadership, communication and education skills
• Commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement
