  • Permanent part-time position, 60 hours per fortnight

About the Role

Join our ward team and help keep patient care and bed management running smoothly across a 7 day service. You’ll be a friendly, organised point of contact for patients, families and staff.

  • Support admissions, transfers and discharges
  • Manage reception and ward admin
  • Liaise with clinical teams and hospital services
  • Assist patients, families and visitors
  • Train new inpatient admin staff

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring strong communication skills, a helpful approach and the ability to stay organised in a busy ward environment.

  • Current keyboard assessment: 30 to 40 wpm with accuracy
  • Experience across a range of administrative duties
  • Confident with Microsoft Word and office equipment
  • Strong communication, customer service and teamwork skills
  • Able to manage competing tasks, solve problems and meet deadlines
