Overview:

The Senior Catalogue & Inventory Management Officer is responsible for the integrity of SA Health's item catalogue and for the operational oversight of inventory control practices across the supply chain, ensuring stock and item data decisions are accurate, timely and aligned to service delivery needs.

The key outcomes for this role are:

  • The SA Health catalogue is maintained to the highest standard of data quality, enabling users across the supply chain to make informed decisions.
  • Item and material attributes are developed and maintained in line with business rules to support effective supply chain and category strategies.
  • Inventory is managed to agreed stock accuracy, productivity and service level targets across SA Health locations.
  • Analysis and reporting on catalogue and inventory performance is provided to stakeholders to proactively support their business objectives.
  • Continuous improvement of catalogue, item data and inventory control procedures and practices is actively pursued.
