Overview:

The Supply Chain Excellence (SCE) Operational Safety & Chain of Responsibility Coordinator provides embedded Operational Safety and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) support as part of a second line capability across SCE operations, supporting the translation of regulatory safety, transport and compliance obligations into effective, day-to-day operational practice.

Strengthens the implementation, visibility and effectiveness of safe systems of work and CoR under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (NHVR), and support the integrated management of safety, transport activities and regulated materials risks to ensure hazards, risks and controls are identified, understood and actively managed within operational environments.

Provides a visible and credible operational presence across high-risk environments, identifying, influencing and escalating safety and CoR risks in real time, with a particular focus on risks with Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) potential.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

 

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

 

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

 

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

 

Special Conditions

  • On-call availability required to respond to critical infrastructure, safety, or security incidents
  • May be required to work flexible hours to meet operational needs
