Lead medical excellence, research and innovation across regional health.

As Director Medical Services – Director of Research, you will support the Executive Director Medical Services in the safe, effective and efficient delivery of medical services across Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, while providing strategic leadership in research and clinical innovation.

You will help grow a strong research culture across the LHN through research opportunities, grants and partnerships, while promoting evidence-based clinical practice. You will also contribute to digital health and virtual care initiatives, the development of innovative models of care and the adoption of new technologies that support improved patient outcomes.

This is an opportunity to combine senior clinical leadership with a passion for research, innovation and rural health, helping bring integrated training, research and advanced clinical care to the region and support its development as a centre of excellence in rural healthcare. The role also participates in a 1:5 medical on-call roster.
