About The Role

The Regional Manager – Community Nursing provides senior clinical and operational leadership for community nursing services across Country Health Connect within the Limestone Coast Local Health Network. You will lead and coordinate nursing and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality and contemporary patient and client care.

With responsibility for service delivery, workforce leadership and local resource management, you will drive quality improvement, clinical governance and effective service coordination. You will provide expert nursing leadership, guide service and workforce improvements, and work collaboratively with health professionals and key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for consumers and communities across the region.

About You

You are an experienced Registered Nurse and senior leader with strong clinical, operational and people management capability. You bring sound judgement, highly developed communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead change, influence decision-making and build collaborative relationships while maintaining a strong focus on safe, high-quality and consumer-centred care.

To succeed in the Regional Manager – Community Nursing role, you will:

• Be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
• Have more than five years' post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife, with demonstrated experience in management and leadership roles.
• Demonstrate highly developed leadership, communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with the ability to contribute to senior-level decision-making.
• Demonstrate experience in human resource management and the financial and asset management of a ward, unit or service.
• Demonstrate competence in the relevant area of nursing/midwifery practice, including experience supervising students, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses and/or midwives.

Conditions of Employment

• A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
• A current DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Immunisation Risk for this position is Category A.
• SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
