About the Role

Lead specialist Social Work practice across SASCIS, supporting people with spinal cord injury to achieve the best rehabilitation outcomes. You’ll guide our team, build capability and shape high quality, person centred care.

  • Lead clinical and professional Social Work practice across SASCIS
  • Build capability through supervision, education, expert advice and clinical support
  • Develop and maintain specialist spinal cord injury practice, procedures and standards
  • Drive quality improvement, research, education and service wide initiatives
  • Represent Social Work across SASCIS, SRS and external forums while maintaining a specialised caseload

About You

You’ll bring strong clinical expertise, leadership and a commitment to quality Social Work practice, along with:

  • Degree eligible for full AASW membership
  • Advanced skill in spinal cord injury or neurological care
  • Leadership and supervision experience in Social Work practice
  • Strong teamwork, communication and problem solving skills
  • Experience in service improvement, clinical evaluation and research
