This is an exciting opportunity to provide strong clinical and operational leadership in a regional setting, ensuring consumers receive safe, high-quality and person-centred care. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating care delivery, supporting efficient service operations and creating a positive workplace culture where staff feel valued, supported and empowered to deliver their best.

You will be responsible for the leadership, coordination and development of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing/Midwifery, while fostering a culture focused on quality, safety, collaboration and excellent consumer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive quality, safety and continuous improvement, using contemporary evidence, data and clinical information to identify opportunities, manage risks and strengthen models of care.
  • Lead and support change, education and professional development, acting as a role model, mentor and resource for staff while contributing to service-wide initiatives and improved consumer outcomes.

Who are we looking for?

  • Do you bring strong clinical expertise and leadership experience, with the ability to confidently coordinate care and support a high-performing nursing and multidisciplinary team?
  • Are you a positive and approachable leader who develops staff potential, encourages professional growth and creates a workplace culture where people can thrive?
  • Do you have highly developed communication, problem-solving, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across a diverse regional health service?
