Make a meaningful impact where it matters most - Aboriginal Health

We are seeking a Project Officer to support key initiatives that strengthen Aboriginal health outcomes and contribute to Closing the Gap commitments within the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network.

Working closely with Aboriginal communities, Regional Directors and Aboriginal Health leaders, you will deliver project and policy work, undertake research and analysis, and drive evidence-based improvements across the Local Health Network. This role offers the opportunity to influence planning, support culturally informed approaches, and coordinate activities that deliver measurable improvements to community health access and outcomes across the Yorke Peninsula and Lower North regions.

What You'll Bring

You are a culturally aware professional with strong communication and analytical skills. You bring experience in project work, research, and stakeholder engagement — particularly with Aboriginal communities — and can manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality. Proactive and organised, you are committed to improving health outcomes through evidence-based approaches that reflect the needs and priorities of Aboriginal communities.
