Digital transformation in healthcare isn't abstract — it shapes how clinicians make decisions, how patients experience care, and how a health network of significant scale operates day to day. At the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN), the Associate Director Digital Solutions and Delivery is the person who makes that transformation real.

About the role: 

Reporting to the Director of SALHN Digital Health, this role is integral to providing strategic leadership and oversight of digital solutions and delivery across SALHN, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. You will drive digital transformation and innovation for improved care outcomes.

Duties for the role will include:

• Provide leadership in shaping and implementing enterprise-wide digital health initiatives
• Ensure the effective management of human, financial and physical assets through appropriate planning and allocation of resources to achieve agreed Service and strategic plans.
• Lead the planning, governance, and delivery of enterprise digital solutions aligned to SALHN's clinical and operational priorities
• Oversee project portfolios, ensuring delivery discipline, risk management, and stakeholder alignment across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and clinical partnership
• Engage executive, clinical, and vendor stakeholders to translate complex requirements into sustainable digital outcomes

About you:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Digital Health, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and direction, planning and implementing initiatives that align with SALHN’s technology, cyber security, and AI strategies within a complex health environment.
• Proven capacity to think and act strategically, analyse complex problems, and deliver innovative, business-focused solutions that support organisational transformation and improved patient outcomes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate senior teams and stakeholders to achieve objectives in a climate of significant change and digital transformation.
• Demonstrated ability to understand diverse stakeholder perspectives, ensuring responsiveness to clinical, operational and consumer needs while balancing strategic imperatives and resource constraints.
• Highly self-motivated and organised, demonstrating initiative and the ability to operate independently while managing competing priorities effectively.
