About the position
The senior officer of Student Clubs and Engagement is in charge of actively supporting and engaging colleagues from many campuses, as well as assisting team leadership in maintaining a coherent and productive hybrid working environment.
This position will help to design, promote, and deliver a lively, student-centered clubs and events program that will appeal to the whole La Trobe University student body. The post will primarily assist the development of the student clubs program on the Bendigo campus, but it will also contribute to cross-campus program-level and institutional-level strategic goals. The role will also collaborate with Student Life colleagues to support overall student success and retention strategies.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have;
• Completion of a degree without relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and be agile and responsive in a major project or major event setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, to prioritise work effectively, deliver outputs in a timely manner and contribute positively to a team.
• Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop excellent working relationships with, colleagues, students, and other stakeholders.
