About the position
The Senior Coordinator, Equity Projects will work through the project cycle, supporting delivery of equity, prevention and inclusion projects and programs with a focus on addressing and preventing gender-based violence, anti-racism and promoting mental health wellbeing and inclusion.
The Senior Coordinator will deliver multiple project actions using evidence-based frameworks and health promotion practice. This role will support the monitoring of projects through cross institutional and team-based data collection and analysis and the design and management of evaluation plans. Project related tasks may include training delivery, reviewing policy, providing secretariat support to meetings, developing project tools or reports.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have;
• A degree in Health Promotion, Social or Health Sciences, International Development or equivalent with at least 5 years subsequent experience; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
• Experience in the design and delivery of social change programs, program evaluation, gender-based violence prevention with workplaces and young people.
• Experience in design and delivery of project plans for social change work.
• Demonstrated in-depth contemporary knowledge of equity and intersectional practice, and willingness to work towards the prevention of sexual harm, gender-based violence, mental health wellbeing, anti-racism, disability inclusion and cis/heterosexism, including up to date understanding of the growing evidence based supporting prevention of these social issues.
