Are you a recent library graduate or early career librarian looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact? La Trobe University Library is looking for a Learning Librarian to join our dynamic Library Learning Services team.
 
About the Role
As a Learning Librarian, you’ll play a key role in helping students build essential information and digital literacy skills. You’ll support student learning through:
 
On-Demand Services – Deliver expert support via chat, phone, and in-person service points, and contribute to co-curricular workshops and events.
 
In-Subject Support – Work with our Senior Learning Librarians to help them embed library learning into the curriculum.
 
Digital Learning Resources – Create engaging videos, interactive modules, and online guides that provide students with flexible, accessible learning opportunities.

Who We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for early-career librarians or recent graduates with:
 
- A qualification in Library and Information Science (or equivalent)
- Strong communication and digital literacy skills
- A passion for teaching and student engagement
