About the position
The Senior Officer, Academic Services will contribute to the student lifecycle activities and procedures across the Academic Services team. The incumbent will be responsible for collaborating closely with peers and teams throughout the university to ensure a consistent approach to customer service delivery, as well as the consistent application of transactional activities and procedures. The role will contribute to the complex task of building, adjusting, and finalising the student timetable. This includes working closely with school and external stakeholders, to ensure students have access to accurate and timely timetable information.
This role has a strong focus on scheduling. Candidates with experience in scheduling or timetabling, or those who can quickly learn and navigate timetable systems and processes, will be highly regarded. The position may also involve collaboration with other areas of Academic Services, as required.
This includes the obligation for managing huge volumes of high-pressure operations, such as manual changes to student study plans, academic progress and outcomes, and curriculum administration.
Intercampus travel will be required from time to time.
