La Trobe University is seeking a visionary and experienced Application Solution Architect to join our Digital Strategy & Engagement team within the Information Services Division. Based at our vibrant Bundoora campus, this is a unique opportunity to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge digital and mobile friendly IT solutions that drive innovation and support the strategic goals of a globally engaged university.
About the Role
As a key member of the Enterprise Architecture team, you will:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership in digital and mobile friendly IT solution design and implementation.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that integrate seamlessly with core and enabling University application, business, data or technology infrastructure.
- Lead major IT projects and initiatives, managing substantial budgets and resources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the university to deliver impactful digital and mobile friendly solutions.
- Represent La Trobe in sector groups and external negotiations.
Key Skills & Experience
We’re looking for someone with:
- Advanced knowledge of digital and mobile friendly IT architectures, systems integration patterns, and solution design.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale digital or IT projects and managing technical design teams.
- Strong understanding of compliance, security standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
- A background in the higher education sector is desirable but not essential.
