About the position
The Senior Content Coordinator position is an editorial-focused role in the Content Team that is the first point of contact for editorial and academic-related content requests. The role sits across La Trobe’s marketing squads and works closely with the Content Manager in the production, communication and implementation of product marketing content, publications, proof points and content requests across a range of audiences and channels.
The role works closely with internal stakeholders across the university project stream, academics, communications, course management, market analytics, and student recruitment to ensure the management of course marketing and university project content is accurate, up to date, high quality and meets stakeholder needs
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have
- Proven copyediting and proofreading abilities to apply advanced knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and style guides to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in written materials.
- Demonstrated skills in professional writing and content creation that draws from an understanding of best-practice copywriting and professional writing, with a passion for improving content and user experience across publications and digital channels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively in small teams, and a demonstrated ability to build and manage positive relationships and lead by influence. Strong stakeholder management skills, and confidence with provision of advice regarding application of editorial policies and procedures
