About the position
The Library Assistant roles work within the Library Environments team, ensuring that library books and resources are accurately and efficiently processed, Library spaces are maintained, and customer enquiries resolved in a courteous and effective manner.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have to:
- Assist students and staff with enquiries and guidance
- Maintain library spaces and collections
- Support events and digitisation projects
- Contribute to a culture of care, innovation, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks
- Attention to detail and a flexible, team-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with libraries and Dewey Decimal System (a plus!)
