- Higher Education Officer Level 5 casual rate $52.28 per hour + super
- Based on site at Melbourne (Bundoora) campus

Duties:
- Administer a portfolio of templated research and consultancy contracts including liaising with Legal Services, researchers, students, Colleges and Finance and Industry Partners including project set up and milestone monitoring.
- Coordinate allocated project milestones using PRIME including liaising with researchers and finance to ensure timely delivery of services including the administration of contract variations.
- Coordinate and maintain up-to-date records and data management to maintain integrity of records using the University’s Research Management Platform, PRIME and My Records (TRIM) for new and existing matters ensuring accuracy and integrity of data for both internal and external requirements.
- Provision of administration support to the Research & Industry Agreements team and support to internal and external stakeholders
- Work collaboratively within the team and as a member of the Research Office to facilitate efficient and effective customer service delivery to researchers and administrative support staff in the University.
- Attend meetings to support or represent the functions of the role as required.
Selection criteria:
The successful candidate must demonstrate possession of the following knowledge and skills:
- Completion of an undergraduate degree with some relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated experience in administration of functions governed by complex criteria and guidelines, preferably with contracts or general legal experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to formulate clear and concise transfer of information to stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop cooperative working relationships with colleagues, researchers and other stakeholders.
- Ability to provide accurate and timely advice in response to enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of proficiency in computer software packages, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
- Demonstrated ability to solve common problems or to employ alternate methods or approaches within set guidelines to ensure satisfactory client service delivery.
- Demonstrated capacity to organise work effectively and efficiently and deliver outputs in a timely manner.
- Flexible approach to individual and team task allocations and priorities.
