The role

As a Business Product Owner, the focus is on maximising business value and return on investment to achieve business goals. In this role, with a focus on our AI Digital Care and Support products, you will have responsibility to lead the adaptation of our core product set to incorporate AI and its potential, into customer-facing and internal solutions.

You will

  • define and communicate the AI product vision, roadmap, strategy, and backlog of work regularly, throughout the product’s development lifecycle (from discovery phase to design, development, testing and ongoing performance operations and monitoring once live).
  • collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and act as the voice of the business throughout the product development lifecycle, from ideation to execution and launch, ensuring timely delivery of meaningful AI products.
  • support Agile delivery through our core Technical Platform Teams, by being a single point of contact from the business, understanding the business areas unique needs, and considering customer experience, user experience, digital analytics and other supporting stakeholders.
  • work on a business case that helps prioritise requirements, features and user stories, based on their business value and risks.

You have

  • experience working across the AI product function, including experience in agile product delivery within the scope of Data, Architecture, Proposition Design, UX, Mobile App & Web strategy.
  • a proven history of having built successful AI products at scale, and knowledge of automation technologies within large organisations, including experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • a unique blend of business and technical savvy, as well as a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality within the energy sector.
  • the ability to develop product requirements / roadmap based on input gathered from a variety of sources, such as data analysis, feedback received from the user community, product research, market research etc.
  • the ability to define KPIs and develop key journeys depending on the KPIs and other analysis.
