Salary: £42,600- £75,100+ car /car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Contract Manager / Contract Manager to join our Procurement and Commercial team within the Offshore Directorate, supporting the Eastern Green Link joint venture projects for SSEN Transmission.

You will

- You will support the Procurement and Commercial Managers and their teams in providing a world class procurement service to internal customers across the joint venture.

- Manage and co-ordinate the purchasing requirements for the project, liaising with internal stakeholders and helping to facilitate any new tender events or call offs from existing framework agreements.

- Support on procurement activities such as the development of Project procurement strategies, managing the procurement process, negotiation of contract terms and conditions and price through to contract award whilst ensuring compliance with the Utilities Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

- Comply with all safety policies and procedures, promote safety and safe working practices both internally and externally to improve safety performance.

You will have

- Problem solving skills and the ability to work and thrive in a team environment.

- Strong knowledge of purchasing systems, payment processes and purchase order management.

- Understanding of the requirements of the Utilities Contract Regulations 2016.

- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages.

- Experience of working on a joint venture environment is preferred but not essential.
