The role
The Income Senior Analyst will assume lead operational responsibility for assigned processes and controls across various workstreams including Bank account management, Payment channel management and Credit balance management.
The role holder will also support the wider Income scope within the Allocation & Investigation and Customer Experience work streams, working closely with the management team. Developing strong working relationships across BE teams and helping to shape and enhance our customer service experience will be important in this role.
You will
Play a lead role in daily operational delivery and perform analysis activity to monitor, assess, problem solve and improve the processes and controls framework within the Income team scope.
- Provide management insight for performance management via accurate and insightful metric reporting.
- Run and develop a suite of control reports; take part in audit and compliance activity, including the forward planning and preparation.
- Approval responsibility for Direct Debits and refunds
- Owns process documentation and training material for assigned operational responsibilities; takes a lead in the onboarding, training and coaching within the team; and sets operational objectives and targets including providing feedback on these.
You have
- Solid knowledge of the operational end-to-end process for compliant, high-volume customer receipt processing and cash management, across multiple payment channels.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills, and able to resolve issues and anomalies
- Understands risk and can contribute to developing risk-based solutions; ability to understand complex issues and communicate them in simple terms
- Good understanding of the end-to-end customer journey for a BE customer, with sufficient understanding of the component steps and key drivers
- Confident to lead delivery for daily and project work assignments; to train and develop a small team; able to influence and adjust approach to achieve agreed outcomes.
