The Security Operations Manager role reports directly to the Director of Security and offers an extraordinary opportunity to ensure overall property control, safety and security whilst meeting departmental objectives through leadership that motivates your team and guides them to develop and reach their full potential.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Security with business plans and department strategies
  • Implement strategies to reduce theft, assaults, vandalism, and other illegal activities at The Star
  • Ensure The Star Security meets customer service targets
  • Support the department in employee relations and performance, aligning with organisational goals
  • Coordinate evacuation and disaster recovery, liaising with emergency authorities and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a security leadership role
  • Cert 4 in Risk Management (desirable)
  • Current NSW Security Industry Licence Class 1A
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic execution or project management
  • Strong ability to build rapport and relationships with stakeholders
  • Availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
