As the Booking Coordinator, you will be reporting to the Celebrations Manager, responsible for maximising our Food & Beverage operations by converting enquiries to bookings delivering a high level of customer service and ensuring familiarity and knowledge of the property.
This is a great opportunity to use your customer service skills and expertise to deliver an exceptional guest experience for every inquiry and booking.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage reservations requests, including group bookings and general F&B enquiries in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Support for group bookings including monitoring advance deposits, confirmation of final numbers and dietary requirements in set time frames.
- Utilisation of relevant software (e.g. ResDiary) for internal communication and maintenance of client files.
- Ensure thorough communication of all event information to the relevant restaurants and departments.
- Assist Venue Teams, Events and Sales Teams with special events as required.
- Always maintain a customer focus, ensuring that customer service delivery is timely, effective and efficient and that it meets both the customer’s (internal and external) needs and corporate standards.

- Professional phone manner and email etiquette with high attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- A thorough knowledge of The Star Gold Coast restaurants and property
- Knowledge of Opera advantageous
- Flexible availability to suit business needs
