Join our team as the Venue Manager at Cucina Regina at The Star Brisbane.

The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.

This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.

The Venue Manager at Cucina Regina role reports directly to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager and offers an extraordinary opportunity to lead and inspire the Cucina Regina team, providing a positive and memorable guest experience. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era in hospitality.

A few of your responsibilities:

- Lead and support the venue in achieving financial and operational targets through effective organisational development, policy and procedural development, and team member training activities.
- Ensure the venue is prepared to host events, delivering high-quality service and seamless operations.
- Clearly demonstrate to customers and team members a commitment to service excellence.
- Drive innovative promotions, menus, and concepts, creating a destination of choice.

What we are looking for:

- Proven experience in managing high-volume hospitality venues
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere
- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong understanding of hospitality industry regulations and compliance

You will need to demonstrate strategic planning, resource management, cost control, and effective leadership in people management coupled with effective communication and influencing strategies across multiple stakeholder streams.
