As our Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer, reporting to the Head of Identity Lifecycle Management, you will be responsible for protecting organisational systems by managing and reviewing user accounts and access throughout the identity lifecycle. This includes providing expert guidance on IAM practices, implementing and maintaining IAM and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions and products, and ensuring their seamless integration with business workflows
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be responsible for delivering major IAM programs, refining the IAM operating model, and working closely with the security architect to build scalable IAM and PAM frameworks
A few of your responsibilities:
- Design, implement, manage and maintain industry-leading IAM (Identity and Access Management) and PAM (Privileged Access Management) products, as well as their integration and workflows.
- Provide expert guidance & support to Star staff & customers on all aspects of Identity & Access Management (IAM), including the handling of access review and lifecycle management.
- Perform user security administration across the core business systems (Tier 1 & Tier 2 ), including maintaining application-level security, scheduling reviews of user profiles in line with established procedures, & coordinating the removal of accounts no longer required.
- Support the review, analysis, & investigation of system security events related to IAM, ensuring timely & accurate resolution.
- Analyse and assess current IAM frameworks, processes and develop IAM Reference Model for Low-Level and High-Level Design documents to provide a structured framework & process for identity and access management
- Develop blueprints for Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), outlining the precise structure and guidelines for assigning access privileges based on roles and responsibilities within the organisation.
What we are looking for:
- Ideally 5+ years of hands-on experience in an Identity & Access Management (IAM) role
- Proven expertise in implementing and managing IAM systems and tools such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Entra and etc
- Strong understanding of identity management, access governance, and related security protocols.
- Accredited tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, IAM Governance, or a related discipline.
- Experience with Java, BeanShell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL, API development or other programming languages used in IAM integration environments.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across business and technology staff.
