The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.

This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.

We are now seeking expressions of interest for the Cellarperson position!

A few of your responsibilites

• Maintain a guest focus in all services, ensuring that service delivery is timely, effective and efficient and that it meets both the outlets needs and corporate standards.

• Liaise with internal and external resources to ensure that cellar and postmix supplies, availability and delivery are in accordance with The Stars’ requirements.
• Liaise with external contractors for a maintenance program for all cellar & postmix equipment.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and promote effective communication by ensuring that all co-workers maintain the same level of knowledge.
• Participate in all pre/post shift briefings to assist with the smooth transition and handover between shifts, thereby avoiding interruption to or jeopardising the quality of service.
• Keep the Cellar Manager informed of any significant operational problems or incidents.

This is a very physical role; therefore, we require applicants with energy, enthusiasm, and physical fitness. You will need to possess a ‘can do attitude’, be comfortable working under pressure to meet demanding time frames and have a high attention to detail with a customer focused attitude.

About us
The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.
