The Star Brisbane is seeking an accomplished and visionary Executive General Manager – Gaming to lead one of Australia’s most dynamic and high-performing gaming operations.

Let’s Talk About You 

You are a commercially astute, values-driven gaming leader who thrives in a high-performance environment. You balance strategy with hands-on operational leadership, and you inspire excellence through collaboration, accountability, and integrity. 

You’ll also bring: 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experiencein senior gaming leadership, including extensive casino management experience 

  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive market share, revenue growth and profitability 

  • Strong understanding of Casino Control Act 1982, Responsible Gambling and Responsible Service of Alcohol compliance 

  • Expertise in labour management, cost control and performance optimisation across large-scale operations 

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage guests, regulators, teams, and board stakeholders 

  • Tertiary qualifications in a commercial, business or related field (Gaming Management qualifications desirable) 

  • Masters Degree preferred, but not essential
