As the Director Property Operations, reporting to the General Manager Asset Protection, you will lead the development and implementation of operations and maintenance strategies that ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of strategic and functional outcomes. This role drives operational excellence by enhancing asset lifecycle and introducing innovative technologies to improve performance, sustainability, and long-term value.

A few of your responsibilities: 
• Manage building services, maintenance, and supplier performance to meet operational targets and drive sustainability initiatives.
• Develop and manage operational and capital budgets, supporting long-term asset strategies and project planning.
• Act as the key site contact for Property Services, collaborating with internal and external partners to support project delivery and operational outcomes.
• Lead workforce planning and team development while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
 
What we will be looking for:
• Extensive experience in facilities leadership within a complex 24/7 hospitality environment, with a focus on strategic delivery and continuous improvement.
• Strong background in asset management, maintenance, project delivery, and compliance in premium properties.
• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support commercial and operational outcomes.
• Proven ability to lead large teams, manage stakeholders, and drive a customer-focused, safety-first culture.
• An effective leader and collaborator who aligns with The Star Entertainment Group’s Purpose, Values, and Promises (PVP), and fosters a safe, customer-first culture.
