The Property Operations Assistant Manager reporting to the Property Operations Manager, is responsible for coordinating personnel on shift to achieve effective completion of maintenance works.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for our Property Operations team.   

A few of your responsibilities    

• Set specific performance objectives for direct reports and supervise service flow  

• Coordinate resource requirements during each shift to ensure that the business needs are met 

• Support the Property Operations leadership team to provide direction regarding the operational aspects of the department 

• Provide reporting on shift labour, productivity and staffing levels 

• Assist with the coordination, prioritisation and scheduling of work orders  

What we are looking for   

• Trade certificate in construction or maintenance 

• Previous experience in an environment with a high turnover of maintenance requests, such as hospitality   

• Good all-around knowledge of building services   

• Prior experience throughout Engineering and/or Maintenance

You will be skilled in property maintenance and enjoy working alongside a large team. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, you ensure the smooth operations of our property while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.  

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Property Operations team at The Star Sydney.
