As our Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and success of our hotel and hospitality offerings at The Star Gold Coast. With your outstanding negotiation skills and a keen eye for identifying untapped market opportunities, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to attract and retain high-value clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will build memorable connections with clients as well as our teams at The Star.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, forging strong relationships with industry partners
- Showcase The Star Gold Coast at events, conferences, and trade shows
- Lead the GCCEC market segment for room and banquet revenue
- Assist the Director of Sales in the development of business strategies
What we will be looking for:
- Proven business development skills coupled with a strong hospitality industry network
- Effective influencing, negotiating, and operational decision-making abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Extensive experience in sales, event planning, marketing, and networking in the hospitality or gaming industries
